We provide a wide range of different itineraries short and long distance to explore the Corbières, these itineraries shows you the beauty of the corbières and will let you discover small local producers.
1. The Cathar Castels.
52 km, Approximately 4 hours
Explore the gorges and waterfalls of Termes and the Cathar castles of Dufour, Termes and Villerouge Termenes.
This superb trip starts in Lagrasse and climbs gently up hill on quiet roads into the high Corbieres in one the the most remote and wildest parts of France
2. Le Val de Dagne
40 km (extra 8 kms, for visiting the sculpture trail in Mayronnes), Approximately 3 hours.
This itinerary will take you through an unspoiled valley with lovely peaceful villages such as Labastide en Val where you can swim in crystal clear water.
3. Canal du Midi
Homps to Lagrasse (45 minutes Mini bus transfer to Homps)
45 km, Approximately 3 hours
From Homps, a small port, you'll be following its 17 kms tow path. Unwind as you cycle along the tow path beneath plane trees planted by Napoleon.
Then a climb up over the Alaric range of hills, followed a decent (all on little used roads).
4. Les gorges du Congoust
42 km, Approximately 2 and a half hours. Visiting little pittoresque villages, Wine and Honey tastings, Cycle threw Les gorges du Congoust finishing by a fresh dive in les rapides de Ribaute
5. Chateau Peyrepertuse, (two days)
55km, Approximately 3 and a half hours. First day you cycle to Duilhac-sous-Peyrepertuse, a beautiful village under the chateux, here you can stay the night over. the next Morning you climb up and visit the Castel. After a lunch you cycle back to Lagrasse.
